There are some interesting facts about this magnificent town.
Smila is situated on the both banks of the river Tyasmin. It has got its name after one young girl, who was very brave and helped to struggle against Mongol-Tatar invasion. She died and was buried on the bank of the Tasmin river. So, the town took its name after her.
